Rosa Stern Space presents the sixth edition of TESTSPIEL: a series of brief interventions by local artists using the space and architectural structure of Rosa Stern Space for the production and trial of new projects. The focus shifts to the artistic process and the production set becomes the exhibited work. Our guest will be Munich based artist Sebastian Lechner @k_rizohh who will show paintings and photography on architectural-contemporary lifestyles.

The artist shows his dual system using the form and body of the encrusted corners at the Westbahnhof to the polished handrails at Bellevue Palace: The not clearly delineated subfield of non-linear dynamics and the myth of the total control and manageability of the individual fails miserably at the ownership of the home.

Sebastian Lechner studied graphic-design, his passion was however, always painting, which he devotes himself to almost exclusively since 10 years. His work used to be figurative and turned into a more free and abstract form. He deals with social and sociological processes and the ever-growing influence of technology on humanity. Many characteristics and modifications arise from experimental practices as well as the the artist's personal iconography.
He founded the artist group "Stromzähler" together with Florian Huber and Nick Bötticher. Since 2016 he has been organizing and curating several group shows with renowned artists.
