Rosa Stern Space presents the seventh edition of TESTSPIEL: a series of short interventions by local artists using its space and architectural structure for the production of new works. The focus shifts to the artistic process and the production set becomes the exhibited work. Our next  guest is Munich based artist Julia Walk.

The transformation of the space creates the setting for an interview series followed by a live Q&A via Instagram. Following her recent diploma in which Julia Walk staged three professional bodybuilders and doused them with colored icing, the performance now will be reflected upon with the participants. During the live Q&A, questions from the social media community will be answered by the bodybuilders and the artist. Please notice that the live Q&A will not be used as a platform for any discriminating, racist or sexist questions.

Julia Walk is a Munich-based artist who recently graduated as a master student in the class of Prof. Peter Kogler at the Academy of Fine Arts. The body serves as the source material for many of her works. Themes such as body norms, ideal images and stereotypes are playfully negotiated in them. The materiality is rather synthetic-glossy with bright colors. Her works were shown at the POSITIONS ART Fair Berlin, ille galerie Munich and Platform Munich.
